I’m Theodoros Simakou, a postdoc working on the PRISM-LT project. I’ve been focused on developing the osteogenic and the adipogenic cultures with the mini-cells.

I’ve started just recently, but I’m already quite excited about PRISM-LT. The work has been going very well in the recent months. I think there is a very strong potential for what we’re finding in a wide range of applications, from biomedical research to food industry. And of course, therapeutics.

And this of course, is quite interesting topic for me because I come from a biomedical background and I know the limitations and challenges that we have when it comes to ex vivo biomedical research. So I think PRISM-LT, in that regard, is making huge steps ahead to facilitate this kind of work.

I’m very excited for the results that we’re getting already. And I think they’re going to have a great impact on both biomedical research and society overall.
